The warehouse has a covered area of 2500 m2 and is divided into three distinct work areas called the dirty area, the place where products are received, the semi-clean area where the calibration process takes place and finally the clean area where it is carried out. the packaging of the products. It is equipped with a calibrator that has the possibility of calibrating fruits by diameter, weight and color, guaranteeing the customer greater standardization of products and uniformity of batches to meet the most demanding markets.
The controlled atmosphere and dynamic atmosphere allows the control of gases, lowering the respiratory rate of the fruits, which causes the degradation process to be slower, guaranteeing great quality to our fruits even during longer conservation periods.
In terms of exports, the Pomar da Marialva brand was represented across borders, the products were sold in countries such as Brazil, Canada, France, England, Libya and Morocco. In view of the expansion of the business, the company made new investments in the acquisition of land for production and in increasing its cold storage capacity to 1400 tons.
